The New Moon in Aries is whipping up a frenzy of action, blazing trails moving forward and onward.  Aries jumps in head first, raring to go, getting things started with an urgency and strong will.  Aries as a fire sign, is the first sign of the zodiac and equates with new beginnings, firing and starting things up.  The drive and motion to movement accelerates the energies of any activity, usually a time to start anything but not finish to completion.

The New Moon Aries join Uranus Aries is a firecracker of energetic force, highly reactive, exciting with sudden, unpredictable events, stirring up some crazies, seeking a change of scene, distance, remote, don’t fence me in, go your own way, do your own thing experiences with a rebellious, defiant, make your own rules, focus on self interests.

Mars rules Aries and the New Moon. Mars is a very strong yang energy associated with competition, leadership, initiative and assertiveness. It is a great time to exercise, get moving and get things done especially after Mars has been held back join Saturn the last few weeks.  Mars head strong sense of purpose continues into the next few weeks soon to join Pluto Capricorn.

Mercury Aries retrograde on the other hand is still moving very slow while square Saturn continuing to be a drag, with a lag, hitting many a snag, thwarting any headway. This Mercury Aries retrograde has shown up with Mercury representing youth and Aries competition with the Humboldt bus wreck tragedy with a bus full of youth hockey players.
