Full Moon in Sagittarius 2015
Full Moon in Sagittarius 2015 “Stuck in the Middle with You” Stealers Wheel
It’s time again for the Full Moon in Sagittarius, getting heated up for summer season. With Sagittarius, things are typically looking up, no matter the bleakness as Sagittarius tends to look on the brighter side of life. Sagittarius, a fire sign and ruled by Jupiter, known for largeness and expansion, is raring to go, and grow with a just do it mentality. Sagittarius keeps things real with brutal honesty, saying it like it is, in your face and to the point, with no need to mince words or candy coat.
Things will get loud, cranking the volume and getting a lift off of dancing feet, hips shaking thumping those thighs. The polarity between the Gemini Sun and Sagittarius Moon is the Gemini neighborly in your backyard borrowing a cup a sugar and Sagittarius out there, far out, reaching beyond the familiar surroundings with an eye on horizon for some freedom on a foreign travel experience. While Gemini crams in a mass of information, Sagittarius focus is on bigger things and doesn’t sweat the small stuff.
The Full Moon in Sagittarius on the upside is making a nice grand trine in fire applying to Jupiter in Leo, ruler of the Full Moon, showing the plus side of Sagittarius generosity with Leo big hearts, and to Uranus Aries, finishing up with a kite to Mars, giving it much hopeful happiness, drive and spontaneity. This trend will just get better over the next few weeks. The Full Moon is also helped with a flowing aspect to the Libra/Aries nodal axis, making sure that all activity stays in line and moving in the right direction.
The Full Moon is otherwise up to task oppose Mercury and Mars, square Neptune with Mercury Gemini in retrograde giving this round a cruising for a bruising, getting choppy and made into mincemeat with aggressive reaction. If its hitting a sweet spot in your chart, then you can count on getting much done, however if its hitting a rough spot, then expect to be in a ball of confusion, in uncomfortable shoes, hobbling along, feet hitting the pavement hard, in busy commutes, getting lost, forgetful and at its worst slipping, cheating, lying, stealing, drunk driving, drowning, travel accidents (watch your step and look both ways before crossing, check blind spots…)
In this conflagulation, Prankster and gangsters, play and prey and get led astray with swearing expletives in various languages as mouthy loud messages come in loud but a bit fuzzy and not so clear or understood. This mutable overload, trying to be all things to all people, can’t sit still, darting here and there, flapping wings as busy bees. Expect otherwise kind neighborly gestures to get rude and gnarly with crossing boundaries and barriers, crossing fences, boom boxes and barking dogs amplified. With all the mutable busyness, it’s time for a ritual exercise to the tune of, “head shoulder knees and toes”.
The Sabian Symbol seems quite fitting for this Full Moon in Sagittarius. “A flag that turns into an eagle that crows”. Both Gemini and Sagittarius are mutable signs that are flexible. The meaning suggests that nothing is at it seems (Neptune) and that the mutable energy is like a chameleon keeping open to morph into anything, adapting to what fits the situation with Sagittarius needing to be true to self and not conform to any suggested standard.
A YOD pattern forms with Mars Jupiter and Pluto which expresses a need for adjustment and may show up as not being able to pin anything down. If that’s not enough Saturn is also making a semi square to Pluto, where authority, responsibilities, and just feeling tired and worn out, breaking your stride and being a drag, with a gritty, subtle, dark undertone.
All this mutable mess is still in Mercury retrograde mode, until June 11th, out of its shadow June 27th, with Gemini as your travel companion navigating through the maze of a two step square dance, swing your partner in motion and it “don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing”. The weather continues to be dicey, as is the mood all gaged by the sounds and alerts of alarms and sirens. Mental processes continue with some head spinning reversals and reruns all according to Murphy’s Law with brain freeze, immobile, stalled and on idle as the sharp Mercury mind takes a nose dive needing some rethinking, rewriting and reiterating.
In the thick of Mercury retrograde, Gemini introspection, thinking and pondering is taking a second and third look, questioning everything with deeper observation and re-examination. Any issue with Mercury retrograde is about paying attention and being alert and aware. Because we each have our own center of awareness and perception, often very unique to others, it makes it understandable how the planet of communication, Mercury, gets us into a blip especially oppose the Sagittarius Moon with added further layers such as language difference, culture difference, clashes with taste in humor, etc.
Poetry in motion, Neptune, is the lesser of all evils with the challenging outer planets, Neptune can still find some kindness, understanding that a little rain must fall and can easily find an escape or run away and hide, go AWOL from any harshness to find some Neptune artistic inspiration or vision, dance, seaside sail, dream, fantasize, drift or listen to some oldies.
Still no matter, Neptune takes us around the bend with Mercury retro as they move in a bit of a bind this time around, with plenty of regurgitation yet still misunderstand where you can’t quite tune into that station with much of he said she said, what she said or didn’t say, what did you say, say what?, say that again or just left unsaid…. at a time when you feel a need to be heard outside of the herd, with a voice that stands out from the noise.
