The New Moon in Virgo is time for a cleaning and sweeping ritual to clear up any messes refreshing your surroundings and aura for a new clean slate. Virgos as an earth sign are grounded and service oriented busy bees, whether slave driven or as a labor of love. Virgo is getting ready for the harvest as we begin to close out summer and prepare for the fall season, back to school, back to business as usual and our regular routine. Mercury communications, short trips, health and work issues can come to an uncomfortable halt (Saturn) forcing us to stop and pay attention with compromise and sacrifice.
Robin Williams death was a jolting upset for many, emotionally saddened by such a great loss of someone so loved and revered. Robin’s chart was under extreme stress the last few years explaining why the depression was becoming severe. With a Scorpio rising, ruled by Pluto, Pluto in Leo over his Mercury MC in Leo (career, public image) says it all for how we see Robin as dramatic and entertaining.
Robin had a special gift to transform (Pluto) his image, mimicking others. Mars in such an aspect was a double edged sword that must act although Mars in Cancer is in its fall which can explain some of the self destruction.

Saturn is classic for depression and his progressions were powerfully tainted with Saturn. Transit Mars was also on its way over his ASC soon to strain his Pluto Mercury MC while activating a grand water trine. I have seen grand trines often in death charts as it becomes a time of release with little restraint or stops which gave Robin the impetus to force his will (Mars) and go over the edge.
