New Moon in Aries 2015
New Moon in Aries 2015 “Wichita Lineman” Glen Campbell
The New Moon in Aries is just slipping out of the eclipse season and moving onward with a certain resolve from any entrenched patterns, shifted and reset toward new directions, with the dust settling, leaving behind a trail of destruction. The New Moon in Aries is rather solitary without any close aspects although it still sits over the south node and Uranus in a very wide orb, drawing out and hashing out past actions with a back lash of haunting reminders of past events and recent eclipses. The separating energy just gathers the aftershocks, shell shock and post traumatic stress disorders from all damage, trouble, crash and burn, collapses, breakdowns, still in a cleanup from the wreckage.
Aries, ruled by Mars, is the symbol of the leader, self directed entrepreneur, independent, taking initiative, on the chase, hunting and breaking new ground. Aries is the sign of the ram, a headfirst fire sign, radiant red with vitality and vim. Those with strong Aries, have an inner strength of purpose and will that drives them through any obstacle. Aries teaches that in order to do relationships well, one needs to embark into the wilderness as a lone wolf, with me time, alone to nurture self growth, an inner core, center and compass that will always sustain oneself through the ebb and flow of life.
Due to the Aries New Moon playing solitaire and hinging over Uranus and south node in Aries, this New Moon gives a great opportunity for a sole journey, with the road paved with single mindedness and separate aims. Aries points you to take your first step in your the right direction walking towards intended goals instead of treading in a wasteland of aimlessness, on a train to nowhere with the motto being put your energy toward worthy pursuits. On the down side, Aries is also at the mercy of one sided selfishness removed from cooperation and consideration for others where self awareness is tainted with subjective self absorption, lacking objective perspective.
Even though this is an Aries New Moon full of fire and vigor, direct, with fast and forthright movement, raring to go, Neptune is looming in the background, clouding the view with a haze of Neptune isolation or loneliness as well as fall outs, lack of response, weak leadership, faulty decision making and muffled reaction in taking initiative. The end of sign Aries New Moon is sapped with Neptune slipping and dripping from your fingers with an Aries rush to last minute tie up loose ends and unfinished business, often burning out and depleting energy reserves.
Neptune Pisces inconjuncts (150 degree angle) the Libra nodal axis and forms YOD patterns with Taurus into May 2015. YOD’s are a difficult formation that extend the inconjunct to two planetary bodies in alignment giving off an uncomfortable and compromising weighing that is challenging to balance. Neptune afflictions are noted for issues around the sea, navy, leaks, spills, slips, flooding, misunderstanding, confusion, insomnia, disorientation, dementia, poor judgement, deception, drunkeness and lack of clarity. Taurus afflictions show up with passiveness, inertia, inflexibility, envy, stinginess and holding onto anything including grudges.
The YOD aspect of the nodal axis to Neptune Pisces literally spilled out with a disturbing oil spill event damaging sacred waters once again, migrant ship sinking, Royal Navy boys fiasco, emphasizing a focal point the nodal axis represents (eclipse point) any time an outer planet hits it. Mars (ruler of Aries and the New Moon in Aries) in Taurus formed a YOD with Neptune and the nodal axis. Mars in Taurus is slow moving demonstrating the slow response.
Mercury in Taurus continues in the YOD pattern over the New Moon with some misunderstanding, distortion, distraction, picking up further on the Neptune Pisces affliction with ongoing news of water shortage due to drought in California that is increasingly getting more serious.
Venus is flirty and fun loving in Gemini, promoting a lighthearted side with a hankering for some stimulation and variety putting a finger in many pies. Venus Gemini makes a tight square to Neptune Pisces adding an infusion of magic, longing and fantasy to romance dialing into a new dalliance or artistic pursuit, needing some surround sound and views for inspiration. Expect more dubious and nebulous head scratching, sleight of hand, behind the scenes secrets, clandestine affairs with a sneaky and clever devious plan and scam, luring and alluring come-hither bait and enticement. Watch your back and your purse strings, for any lurking thieves and tricksters with some charm that can disarm.
Mars continues to plod along in Taurus, in a steady pace giving patience and restraint although anger can build into stubborn inflexible refusal to bend with you stay in your corner, and I will stay in mine. Mars makes a strong aspect to Jupiter where actions are energetic up to leaps and bounds with aspects to Pluto to ground instinctual urges and keep plugging away at those high hopes and ambitious motivations further aided and supported by a grand trine to Lilith in Virgo empowering and giving a strong sense of purpose and ammunition for any mission.
During the last few years Uranus square Pluto hit up global explosion of events and coincided with a growing popularity of movies and shows featuring the dark grim state of the world stage with a new Uranus Pluto generation featuring shows like Game of Thrones with all the vying for power, bloodshed, violence and war and Hunger Games for survival of the fittest to the max.
Aries points to new directions and Pluto, Saturn and Jupiter are showing the directional shifts after stationing and standing still the last month. Pluto turns retrograde which brings any issue with power dynamics, power struggles, abuse, bullying and empowerment into an internal scoping to further understand how to address and reconcile personal power and authority while digging deep to uncover, realize and manifest core desires. Saturn in Sagittarius releases from its station, regaining a foothold to move through any struggle or frustration and bounce back from disappointment. Jupiter Leo turning direct is picking up high hopes, moving forward toward accelerated growth.
With the Aries New Moon, leadership is the focus with our own brand of game of thrones. Elections in the midst for both Canada and the US are ramping up the political landscape across the nation. Hilary Clinton, Stephen Harper, Obama and Justin Trudeau charts are on the spotlight to be watched. Hilary is a strong Scorpio with a Scorpio ASC and stellium of Scorpio planets which indicates her natural leadership (ASC-1st house-natural house of Aries). Currently transit Saturn (government) is in her 1st house which positions her for leadership.
Hilary’s keeping things under wraps the last few years can be attributed to Saturn traveling over her Scorpio stellium in the 12th house of hidden agenda, keeping things close to her chest (Scorpio). Saturn in Sagittarius will make a positive aspect to her Leo Saturn Pluto in 2016 which will aid her in the race as transit Jupiter and north node eclipses (Sept 1 2016) over her 10th house of public office showing much promise. Hilary’s campaign logo is an arrow, a symbol of Jupiter. Jupiter is in Hilary’s natal 1st house of leadership and currently Jupiter in Leo just turned direct sitting over her Leo stellium making its way to her 10th house of public office which makes a whole lot of sense with a new Jupiter direction.
