Vision, Healing and Hope
The Neptune Chiron Jupiter 2009 conjunction in Aquarius was a time of hope in the midst of global chaos. Chiron met up with Neptune in Aquarius in 2008 which began the formation of the triple conjunction of Neptune Chiron Jupiter where Chiron and Neptune continue onward into Pisces upon 2011 as Neptune Chiron cross paths once more in Pisces, Neptune’s ruler. This period of the triple conjunction reflected much of the suffering and wounding collectively and the dissolving of ways we experience our pain and forms of escape from the undertow of Neptune (uncertainty, apathy and confusion) . This is a time when many will find solace in drugs and substance to cure their ails-a time when we may find no recourse but to surrender to the divine wound of what it means to be human. Because much of the energy surrounded Aquarius, confusion (Neptune) wounding (Chiron) expansion (Jupiter) the focus at the time was attributed to groups, social structures, humanitarian missions, aviation, social media, originality, independent thought, freedom, eccentricity, unconventional relationships and reform, organizations, communities, fellowship, friendship, brotherhood. The growth of social media at this time presents the forming of collective fusion and global reach through facebook and twitter.
Jupiter joined Chiron and Neptune in 2009 and brings a time of hope and faith and visualization as the astrological chart is all about potential. There are seeding opportunities we have to shed light on and nurture to grow just like any creation whether a garden, art, children etc. Visualization is akin to creation. Our minds eye has the birthing instigation. Our daydreams spawned from deep desires stemming somewhere from some stored hopes and longing. Visualization beyond just wishful thinking-a creative function of designing the landscape of our dreams in a structured deliberate format –taking those passing fancies and hopes and building our very own dream come true. Our conscious efforts and awareness utilize a sort of force of intention. The magic is held here. Knowing a particularly fortunate energy is upon us, we can take action to use that energy to our highest good. Neptune aligns to right brain thinking-a place devoid of control, analysis, logic, precision and order. I watched a show recently about a brain scientist out of Harvard who studied brain function and had a stroke in the left side of her brain-cutting out all the activity of the left brain which left her debilitated and completely right brain focused. She went on to write a book on her journey back and her right brain experiences My Stroke of Insight by Dr. Jill Taylor.
The power of visualization is an iconic trend in our new age of power enlightenment seeking solace in belief systems such as the “Secret” which isn’t anything new regarding the power of positive thought. Visualization is simply a form of communication to take the power of positive thought and turn it into something real and concrete. Manifestation. We hear in many circles, the current climate is operative for wishes to life. There is no better time than now to take our dreams, desires, hopes and wishes to grand levels as Neptune dances with Jupiter. During this dismal and trying economic crisis and chaotic uncertainty we currently face, comes this opportune respite of grace to move beyond our mundane concerns and fears.
This inspiring trio is an oasis and temporary reprieve from the formation of the coming build up of the revolutionary and impending dissolution of structures with Pluto Uranus and Saturn meeting in adverse corners we will face starting in the summer 2010. From March 2009 til March 2010, we have been given an opportunity to begin a journey toward building a bright future with our mind’s eye-to create a landscape to build a bridge for a future with a landing pad and detour away from the onslaught of growing terror, fear and rage. It’s a time for the Jupiter expansion of Neptune hope with Chiron healing. We have a choice to choose which road we will take. Of course this is the idealistic and harping call of Neptune Jupiter-some call it foolish optimism.
Neptune is not an energy that is easily integrated, contained or understood. This is the planet of idealism, imagination, compassion, faith, intuition, surrender, dreams, spirituality, creativity, unconditional love, selflessness as well as deception, delusion, sacrifice, suffering, isolation, apathy, dissolution and confusion. Its a higher road to faith, hope, trust, forgiveness and compassion in a time of doubt and uncertainty. Neptune creates the opportunity to live with what may seem impractical or unfounded as its not an energy open to testing, scrutiny and boundaries. It’s beyond dissection and rationality. Its elusive and slippery like holding water in your hand. Intuition that comes in flashes, it’s a knowing, inherent in stillness and calm. It rules the unseen and the hidden, secret, veiled, obscure, cloaked versions of life. Take this energy with expansive and excess of Jupiter operating unconsciously and you could also have a disaster.
Neptune is particularly challenging for earth and air energies where mundane proof and material, concrete sensory attachment means to an end as well as logical rational, measurable objective raw data is not in tune with Neptune’s higher formation of wobbly and fuzzy lines. Neptune is water ruled-water has its own properties of movement and fluidity that can’t be held without containers. Neptune erodes structures as a wave continuously crashes and wears away a rock. Its slow breaking down by dissolving, diffusing and softening hard edges smooth. Neptune is ultimately about peace and collective fusion. A leap of faith and a walk blind into the dark tunnel of the unknown. Beyond Saturn structure and form, Neptune is shapeless and form fitting, permeable and not easily grasped. Coupled with Jupiter expansion the dangers of over reach and extending too far over the cliff, overestimating and being over confident and not looking before you leap-blind faith turned deaf, dumb and idiotic.
Unfortunately the dark side of this energy came to be a tragic fate on May 31, 2009, losing Air France Flight 447. This horrific crash into the dark Atlantic Ocean just after a few hours leaving Brazil heading for Paris was testament to the confusion and uncertainty of Neptune around how to quickly maneuver the plane as it hit a terrible storm hidden from radar by a previous storm. The quick preparedness to handle the plane manually as all systems went down made it almost impossible for them to take control of the plane. There is something unnerving of knowing that with so much automation on flights, many flight crew are not prepared for flying a plane manually and taking control. Being through a storm 250 miles wide and not being prepared surely shows in the chart with Mercury square the Neptune Chiron Jupiter trio. This Mercury is critical as it just turned direct that day from being in retrograde motion. I always note when Mercury goes direct that travel becomes chaotic.
Mercury represents travel as does Jupiter (long distant-foreign) (Aquarius-aviation). The nodal axis square Mars also shows the potential for an accident as it sesquiquadrate Saturn-Mars is the chart ruler in the 1st house. The Moon is oppose (Uranus 12th-hidden complications with the electronics and computer system ) as it builds to a tsquare to Pluto 9th while forming a YOD to Neptune Chiron Jupiter. I see the Moon Mercury and Mars as key in looking at the whole picture and background of the chart -especially in applying aspect here we also have the applying Uranus Pluto square. This crash over a big body of water and the disappearance is also a characterization of this energy of Neptune (disappearance, body of water) Chiron (wound) Jupiter (expansive large body). I am sure many flights arrived safe however with this storm path, this certainly presented the crux of the defining challenge of this energy in motion-a perfect storm.
In the finishing cycle of Neptune Chiron Jupiter in January 2010, we experience another tragic event with the Haiti Earthquake bringing more devastation. This was a pre solar eclipse event where the Moon is at its darkest point, here showing the building momentum of an eclipse and the impact with both Mars and Mercury retrograde, Mars oppose the Neptune Jupiter Chiron trio and the Moon waxing to strain Uranus and Saturn as it moves toward Pluto, here the background strain of Saturn square Pluto.
Flight 1549 in January 2009 Miracle on the Hudson around the solar eclipse demonstrated the powerful opportunity for grace and mercy with the safe landing (ditching) with Jupiter just making its entrance into Aquarius. An immensely powerful and precision feat of landing the plane after a bird strike caused the plane’s engines to lose thrust shortly after take off. Here you see a supported Moon applying to trine the Jupiter stellium in Aquarius with Mars applying a trine to Saturn and sextile to Uranus, a solid sharp sturdy Capricorn Sun near a conjunction to Jupiter. A clear day, no clouded vision. Mercury was also retrograde on the nodal axis as Saturn Virgo (animals) oppose Uranus (aviation). It was a week before a powerful auspicious solar eclipse infused with Jupiter showing the blessing. The Sun trine Saturn in earth showed the very careful and methodical precision landing (Saturn Virgo).
Back track to Neptune’s progression in the last few years with its connection while opposing Saturn in 2006/2007 and the meeting up of Chiron in 2008. Neptune with its first meet up with Chiron oppose Saturn in 2007 demonstrated the cause where the wounding and pain came from the deception and muddled development leading toward the financial crisis with the Wall street Ninja lending crumble from free fall market ponzi schemes and deregulation gone amok. Back in 2006 with the US housing market in shambles already, schemes and dreams were being built further around these weak lending structures to give away the American dream of home ownership. Anything to keep the machination of growth building and production moving.
Trace back to early 1997, the impact of Aquarius Neptune Uranus joined by Jupiter was a time of expansion and a trigger point for massive growth and opportunity especially with technology and the internet. I am sure many experienced epiphanies and made great strides in new directions with the burst of the internet and exponential technical advances-the dot-com certainly at its peak. As we look ahead into 2010 and 2011 with Neptune and Chiron moving into Pisces, we can anticipate much dissolving and unraveling, to say the least for the next 15 years as Neptune and Chiron slowly move through Pisces for the next many years to come.
