New Moon in Aries 2019
New Moon in Aries 2019 “We Will Rock You” Queen
The New Moon in Aries sparks with initiative and a zest for life. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and falls every year during the new spring season of beginnings, fresh new starts and is ready for new decisive action. It is a time to gain new traction, make new plans, move forward, march onward, forsake anything in your wake, what once had trust needs to bite the dust, to break away to a new way.
The New Moon in Aries in the new spring season is ready to start over after coming to some inevitable ends. It is very fitting as a ritual where in winter all things die to be born again in the spring. The extreme exit of it may feel overwhelming due to the heavy repercussions however all force involved is a necessary evil to move forward and leave behind anything that isn’t working. The New Moon in Aries is hitting a hard intersection with a square to Saturn Pluto and the nodal axis. This is a Moon Wobble with a harsh affliction over the south node Saturn Pluto in Capricorn. This energy pattern will all be crystallized during the Cancer/Capricorn eclipses in July 2019.
The New Moon in Aries square the nodes, Saturn and Pluto is conflicting, crisis laden, dominating, ruthless, controlling, (the underlying coping mechanism for fear). On the south node there is something futile about trying to fight it or fix it. This is a tough as nails aspect, fighting tooth and nail. Mars, ruler of Aries, and the New Moon, is further making a snarl aspect to this energy pattern, increasing head butting and disagreements. Boundaries, drawing the line and putting up a wall of enough is enough. Aries helps to forge ahead gangbusters with courage and bravery, despite any adversity. Aries isn’t afraid to fight or be themselves, and is no pushover, fueled with an energizing fire to burn through any rubble; a loaded gun ready to shoot down anything that needs to be eliminated, disintegrated, with all things reaching a breaking point toward accepting endings, whether defeat, death, loss, where you may have lost the battle, but not the war.
The New Moon in Aries in this hard square is meant to be addressing long standing power struggles, challenging structures that are broke and need complete dismantling in order to start at the bottom and start over. This is an energy that entails destruction in order for new creation. The Capricorn south node over Saturn Pluto is a time of relinquishing power and control, surrendering to a higher power, letting go of control, trusting in a higher message, against all odds, difficult to fathom, accept or have faith in.
The emphasis on the south node is hard core, hitting rock bottom, clearing the decks, purging, releasing, holding accountable and taking responsibility, getting rid of any toxic residue. The cycle is ending long held karmic ties with all those things related to Capricorn (career, status, authority, patriarchy, reputation, responsibility, accountability, maturity, retirement or semi retirement, endings and shifts in career, downsizing, corporate take overs).
The positive side is the New Moon in Aries makes a positive angle to Jupiter Sagittarius, showing new growth, expansion and opportunity while Neptune Pisces is also harmonizing to this nodal axis Saturn Pluto entanglement, helping to guide toward faith, dreams and constructive evolution. Mercury in Pisces is just out of retrograde further offsetting this harsh energy pattern, restoring peaceful negotiations. It is trusting in the unknown, going with the flow, helping to ride the tide and heavy rapids, knowing you will be carried out safely, with a renewed sense of hope with a pointer to nurturing, self care, family, comfort, home (north node in Cancer) and putting to rest some elements of the south node in Capricorn (career, status, authority).
