Full Moon (Supermoon) in Capricorn June 2013
Full Moon (Supermoon) in Capricorn
This is a very significant Full Moon (Supermoon) in Capricorn also called the Honeymoon gracing the start of the summer heightened by closely following the Summer Solstice. The Honey Moon in June is honored at this time and probably precipitous to marriage ceremonies with the solar year masculine (Sun) turning in Cancer which is ruled by the feminine (Moon). Sun Jupiter is enhancing joy and abundance and yet another grand trine with the Sun Cancer Saturn Scorpio and Neptune Pisces with the Moon Capricorn completing the grand trine into a kite pattern. The Universe is giving us a time to take a breather and exhale.
The grand trine in water has a subtle flow, slowing the pace getting us in touch with an inner prompting and voice that can only be heard if we have it quiet and still enough to hear the faint soft messages whispered in the silence. For some the water trine can feel like a wet blanket and for others a time to surrender to an emotional purging and needed water works. Flooding is still evident with the water trine also giving a high water mark especially as tides are high and water rises during the Full Moon phase, particularly during a Supermoon, forcing people out of their homes-Cancer. Water trines bestow great opportunity to manifest any area of focus and desire has a better chance of fulfillment. Careful or pay attention to what you wish for.
The Capricorn Moon forms a kite to the growing grand trine in this lunation cycle giving us a springboard to help set us off into flight to dive into the deep pool to find the hidden treasures. The Cancer emphasis is on the imagination, the maternal (Moon) care giving and nurturing and paternal (Capricorn-Saturn) instinct, protection, safety and home. Focus will be close to home (Cancer) domestic, family, food, gut feelings, real estate and nostalgic sentiment. Cancer goes to the roots, those places that churn memories consoling any home sickness and sensitivity with the stomach.
The Capricorn Moon fills the Uranus Pluto square adding to the depth and intensity and the emotional openness and readiness for innovation and something different. (Moon Uranus). Moon Pluto knows deep down it can make the commitment to forge ahead through the thick and thin and the unknown road ahead.
Lilith also joins this Full Moon which has been traveling close to Jupiter the last few weeks. Lilith moved into Cancer as will Jupiter and will enhance the grand trine with Jupiter’s righteousness and Lilith’s fierce cries for seeing through any injustice. Lilith turns to authentic realization and in Cancer we can expect to feel those pangs close to our hearts with any deeply rooted unconscious recognition and acknowledgement that comes to the surface. Lilith, known as the Dark Moon has the capacity now in Cancer to awaken any latent suppressed emotion that needs expression.
Mercury turns retrograde June 26th in Cancer and has been in its shadow since June 10th where it will turn station direct July 20th at 13 degrees Cancer. Communications and incidents around water, emotions will rise. Mercury in Cancer thought processes are more internal and communication is soft spoken, inert with a sensitive undertone. Talk isn’t cheap with Mercury in Cancer as its intentions are deep and soulful with reflection on meaningful core issues. Mind wandering with mood changes, the Moon ruled Mercury gives the thought processes a heavier and weighted subjective and serious touchy-feely tone. Thoughts in the mind can come and go but once in the heart and emotions attach, thoughts do become things.
The Sun just moving past the conjoin to Jupiter leaves us riding the tail of Jupiter’s last run through Gemini with information leaks, legal issues and cases regarding freedom of expression and confounding legal processes. With the new hope of the grand water trine as Jupiter moves into Cancer and trines Saturn and Neptune mid July 2013, legal process ( Jupiter) and judgements, push for justice.
Amanda Knox case is being addressed once again. Amanda is a Cancer with a challenging Cancer stellium oppose Neptune. The current transits and recent eclipses are pointing to her Jupiter and her 12th house (hidden information and secret enemies). Transit Jupiter (legal) has been traveling through her 1st house oppose her 7th house stellium and the next few weeks will be challenging with a fight on her hands as transit Mars (war, conflict) moves to also oppose her 7th house stellium, the house of open enemies.
Secrets were revealed upon the Gemini New Moon. Information leaks as well as other leaks (water trine) (secrets-Neptune). Edward Snowden has the chart for whistle blowing. Sun Mars Gemini on the north node with his Jupiter in its ruler Sagittarius. Transit Jupiter is over his Sun Mars node where his Sun is on an anaretic degree. The last degree of a sign is often a critical degree, here surmising his need to break the code of silence and reveal the truth.
I have been watching Turkey’s chart as it has natal Pluto in Cancer. Tense transits from Uranus Pluto as transit Mercury made its first pass over Turkey’s Pluto showed up in the riots and violence this last few weeks stirring up the rebellion. Turkey is a Scorpio, with a relentless fight to make things right with revenge seeping through their veins. Mercury retrograde will be sitting over Turkey’s Pluto during its motion which highlights Turkey’s pressing need to be heard.
Suitably, the movie “This is the End” is the film of the times and gives a new twist on any who take life too seriously and can appreciate going out with a bang. Nik Wallenda, the dare devil high wire walker who literally lives on the edege, will take a walk over the Grand Canyon scheduled on the Full Moon. It will be shown live on the Discovery Channel. Nik has a very challenging chart that seems to predispose him to a life challenged and taking risks. He is an Aquarius showing his rebellious and radical interests and has Mars strong in his chart (sport and risk). He has a very tense Mars transit through this event.
The release point is very strong with grand trines in water which may show passing to be more prominent at this time. James Gandolfini passed suddenly (Uranus) with a heart attack. He is known for his role in the Soprano’s. His Moon is in Capricorn, fitting for the Full Moon. He has a very challenging aspect from progressed Mars to his Leo stellium (heart) which includes Uranus in Leo (shock, sudden) indicative of the stress around the heart. Nelson Mandala has Pluto at the 5 degree point in Cancer and his Jupiter return in Cancer which is activated by this grand trine transit which may show this is the time to peacefully leave.
