Cancer Full Moon 2018

Cancer Full Moon 2018 “Silent Night”

On a cold winter night, winter solstice sets thee right, as the moon shines its light, with its glow round, a guiding light found. Winter Solstice (darkest day/night of the year) tunes into the Capricorn Solar cycle of calm, still, grounded, centered, quiet while the Cancer Full Moon blesses with its light, brightening up the darkest night.

The Cancer Full Moon is a predominance of water, with earth to ground and fire to keep stoked. The Cancer Full Moon (Sun Capricorn oppose Moon Cancer), typically sees emotions run high around the holiday season regarding  family, deep ties, home. The Cancer Full Moon is supported by a flowing aspect to Uranus which adds a spark of lightness and helps to offset and distance from any Cancer emotional overflow, over caring, and holds promise to fulfill a reflective, tolerant open mind,  nurturing a soothing, comforting, caring holiday season where gatherings are warm and welcoming.

The Cancer Full Moon separates from a difficult angle to Mars and Chiron in Pisces, where old wounds, anger, conflict, suffering, has seen some inroads in finding resolution and closure.  Mercury in jovial Sagittarius join Jupiter Sagittarius, heightens positive communications, although continues to complete a hard angle to Neptune Pisces, the final shadow dance of Mercury retrograde out of its shadow, somewhat the last bow and hurrah after a train of multiple challenging retrogrades since June 2018, inhaling and exhaling a sigh of relief.

Venus Scorpio makes a positive angle to Neptune Pisces and Pluto Capricorn, encouraging peaceful and harmonious relations, with a touch of beauty and grace and deeply felt abiding ties that bind. The Full Moon in Cancer sets the tone for the entry into Cancer /Capricorn eclipses, beginning in January 2019. The eclipses in 2019 will further be impacted with Saturn Capricorn join Pluto Capricorn setting the stage for major restructure, overhaul and transformation.
