We have two Full Moons in Aquarius this summer – two for one special, a rare occurrence which seems to line up with the many unique (Uranus-ruler of Aquarius) configurations we have this summer.  The Full Moon for July 22 is also called a Thunder Moon due to all the summer storms, apt for Aquarius as storms are connected to Uranus and we can anticipate very strong electric storms due to the strong Uranus Pluto tension.  The Aquarius Full Moon brings some airy detachment and some air to breathe to the water emphasis dispersing the emotional overflow as the Sun in Leo takes center stage to lead the next few weeks with pride and fiery passion.

The element Air is lacking in the next while which features the attention of Aquarius that is open minded and respects differences and diversity allowing a live and let live attitude to chill out with some relief from being lost in a vat of feelings.   Uranus and Aquarius rule over equality as the impartial observer who accepts a range of uniqueness, a kaleidoscope of not only color and race but of lifestyle and beliefs free of prejudice (pre-judgement).  Aquarius motto can be, weirdo’s unite where any gathering or group band together to form power in numbers.  Naked marathon anyone?

Aquarius (ruled by Uranus) is the harbinger of change and a key player.  Many are experiencing awakening and jolting shifts forcing their hand at making the next leap in their path.  The pressure points are being piqued for those who fear change and want to hold onto security, either a shake up and anxiety provoking or for others who like change and surprises excitement may be more the course.

Both Full Moons have a cracker jack whip to them.  The 1st Full Moon sets the stage for the cardinal tsquare of Mars Uranus Pluto and the super Grand Sextile-Star of David on July 29th.  The 2nd Full Moon in Aquarius August 20th brings in a climactic grand cardinal square.  The first Full Moon is on a critical degree-0.  The first degree of any sign is a horizon of new beginnings and with that its birth and infancy can be naive and innocent with bold steps, head first in,  ask questions later.  This is the degree of rushing in where angels fear to tread.

Venus moves into Virgo also on a critical degree on Regulus where Regulus just moved to Virgo from where it resided in Leo for several centuries.  Regulus is the most auspicious fixed star and rules over Kings and Leaders.  It’s no surprise the birth of a royal baby is to occur around this time, with the Sun just moving into Leo-the sign of royalty.  The birth on or around the Full Moon would reflect Mom (Princess Kate) who was born on a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse and Prince William on a New Moon Solar Eclipse.  Regulus over Virgo shows leadership that is more humble and looks toward the health and welfare of all of earth and mother nature as opposed to ego controlled anarchy rulership.

Mercury Cancer turned direct on July 20th.  In its station and turn around it has a bit of a twirl in the turnstyle so communications may still get into some blunders with some emotional (Cancer) knee jerk reactions with knickers in a knot making mountains out of molehills.

Jupiter in Cancer brings home the Zimmerman trial and results as Jupiter (legal) with issues around home (Cancer) security.  In Cancer we get to the root causes of the legal system failing and the heightened emotional contagion around injustice with extremely divided highly polarized reactions.  It’s a similar reaction to the Casey Anthony case which also took place during the Cancer tsquare to Uranus Pluto a few years ago and pointing to another case in Florida with someone getting 20 years for shooting a gun (standing her ground with a warning shot- nobody hurt) to scare off an abusive partner.

Jupiter in Cancer in its exaltation can be an opportunity to bring a semblance of integrity to the legal system.  It’s a Jupiter return for the US which has Jupiter at 5 degrees Cancer recently with the grand trine over it which brings an opportunity for improvement.  The US Sun in Cancer rules the 9th house (legal) and its being impacted by transit Uranus and Pluto the next year showing a major needed overhaul.  NewYorker Article.

With Mars just moved to join Jupiter, anger (Mars) is growing (Jupiter) with a callout against a glowing injustice in a legal system seen as broken and biased. The emotion of Cancer is subjective and takes over any rational, detached logic lacking a reasonable impartial ability to judge.  The lack of air with a predominance of water and fire points to the idiocy and lack of common sense in this legal process and system that glaringly came alive again with the Zimmerman case.  This New York Times article seems to sum up much of the outpouring with the Zimmerman trial.

George Zimmerman has a talent triangle including Saturn (1st Saturn return) triggered by the current grand trine (Jupiter Saturn Neptune) where he can count his lucky stars he was released from the murder charge or as some will say, he got away with murder. This is a very forgiving aspect that can also give power in the wrong hands.  Saturn rules boundaries which were clearly crossed when he decided to follow Trayvon when told not to by the police.  Saturn returns are determining markers of consequence that reflect 28 year cycles, this cycle George will have to endure and pay the price for his actions for the next Saturn cycle.

His Sun in Libra is under the attack from transit Uranus Pluto showing the crisis around his life at this time.  Transit Pluto square Sun showed his stalking behavior that became obsessive and Uranus oppose his Sun his rebellious need to act alone (Aries).   His Mars in Virgo also with transit Neptune oppose Mars showing some confusion around his actions harping on the details and not seeing the big picture, a lesson to be learned about not sweating the small stuff.

Mercury in Virgo is square natal Neptune showing the confounding confusion around the incident and his lack of voice during the trial.  He was born during a Balsamic Moon (the darkest phase of the lunar cycle) just before a New Moon can reflect a character with emotional fanaticism and not being able to see clearly.  Mars squares both Jupiter and Uranus also showing where someone can jump to conclusions and react rashly and impulsively with poor judgement (Jupiter) skewed by anger (Mars).   A clear indicator how regular civilians carrying a gun can go amok.

With the Libra and Virgo emphasis, there is a people pleasing and perfectionism ready to clean up any messes however in a negative sense, nitpicking and the proverbial brown noser kind of not only wanting to kiss butt for some gain but also literally sticking their noses into places they don’t belong with an overzealous earnestness square Jupiter Uranus.   His Venus in Leo is on Regulus further giving him protection which is highlighted in this Full Moon cycle.  His Solar ruler, Venus (Venus rules Libra) in Leo wants to be acknowledged special and square Uranus Jupiter shows this pushed over the edge with some inner drive to be the hero of the day. Venus on Regulus is further taken down with its negative  expression of revenge and vindictiveness.

We have just been graced with a few grand water trines (Mercury Cancer, Chiron Pisces and the Scorpio nodal axis and Mars Jupiter in Cancer,  Saturn Scorpio  and Neptune Pisces) all built into kites with the south node in Taurus and Pluto in Capricorn.  This is all passing to merge into a very rare pattern on July 29th known as the Star of David, the symbol of Jewish Kabbalah (6), akin to the Cross for Christians, the square and compass of the Freemasons (4) and the Pentagram for Pagans(5).  The Star of David is also known as King David’s shield, the top triangle moves upward to spiritual worlds and the bottom triangle moves to the real material world, 6 sides and 6 finds balance in the hexagram giving protection, containment, grace, mercy and opportunity.  3 – 6 – 9 patterns are related to the sextile which urges taking steps and initiative.

This Star of David has some very remarkable dynamic aspects that amplify the power of the configuration.   It occurs during the last Quarter Moon which is also a Moon Wobble (square the nodal axis).  The Sun is in Leo (Sun rules Leo), the Moon is in Taurus, in its exaltation.  The Sun and Moon further create a tsquare with Saturn in Scorpio.   Mars is in a tsquare with Uranus Pluto.  This all suggests much hard grind stone energy and being open to a radical turn of events that requires courage in the face of chaos, the unknown, change and adversity (Mars) and sustained focus (Fixed tsquare with Saturn).

With Mars moving into the dreaded tsquare with Uranus Pluto the next couple of weeks,  it’s time to pick your battles (Mars) wisely (Saturn).  Plenty of martian energy is available to inject needed vitality.  It is a time to channel this Mars in Cancer energy into something action oriented and take advantage of the strength and muscle to get things done, especially the nasty gritty  jobs you keep putting off.  Either take on a project or expect things to be projected onto you-you choose.

I took advantage and started some major fixing up and some muscle action (Mars) polishing my copper collection (metal-Mars). Copper has a high electrical charge capacity (Uranus) and conductor of heat (Mars).  I found I was literally charged with energy and strength as I can tell when I lack copper in my system. I didn’t realize the Statue of Liberty is made of copper, oxidized to its green cover.  Now that would be a project to polish….  Mars in this placement with Jupiter catching up can get obsessive, radical and into overkill so don’t over do it.

Mars in Cancer is the Mr. Mom, the feminine nurturing soft side of the masculine Mars.  Mars in Cancer is in its fall which can also be the proverbial sticking your head in the sand as the Cancer crab in Mars moves sideways, not the natural direct motion of Mars. Denial and hiding can only work so long and the confrontation may be brought to light with the tsquare to Uranus Pluto in the next weeks-especially the opposition to Pluto.  With Pluto in the mix watch food poisoning ( as seen with the recent tragedy in India with children being poisoned by contaminated food) and IBS, inflammation issues could be flared up (food, stomach- Cancer) Pluto (poison, bowels). Mars rules over protein and muscle so increasing meat or protein now for vegetarians may be beneficial.
