The Sun Moon in Sagittarius here is the hard shell tough on the outside with a soft center able to forge ahead and take on the next battle or embark on the next adventure. The Sabian Symbol keyword for this New Moon in Sagittarius is “Seclusion” which reinforces this next month as a time to honor the inner hermit-highlighting the Hermit in the Tarot-contemplation, guidance, stepping back and assessing a situation before taking action.

This New Moon is rather left out of any aspects although with a slight semisquare with Saturn indicating potential frustration and a time of longing for solitude and turning inward honoring some isolation as a sole survivor-heeding discipline and patience in the process.  Here the Sun Moon may feel left to their own devices to fend for themselves pushing one to pull their boot straps up.  Sagittarius craves freedom and room to move and grow, and given lots of rope, will amass a world of opportunity.

There is much afoot with this New Moon as Uranus turns direct and Mercury leaves its shadow where Mercury trines Uranus. Uranus has stationed at 4 degrees Aries since mid November 2012 and will continue til mid January 2013-this stationary degree point being sensitive as are all stationary degree points.  This will bring a sudden exciting change and surprise and an unexpected jolt that was halted as Uranus went retrograde July 2012-anything that was suddenly stopped then will come back to some resolution or completion by starting off where you left off in July.

Christmas and the Holiday Season this year has the addition of a different sparkle with Doomsday celebrations.  Many are making plans for their last supper –a real early bird special- December 21, 2012.  As per David Letterman-its Friday, so it`s casual day and you won`t have to worry about Christmas shopping. There is plenty of hoopla on the horizon with the impending doomsday December 21 2012 being the end of the Mayan Calendar and in some circles or in another’s  circus, the end of the world or to many, the end of the world as they know it with Spiritual ascensions and the preparation for moving from one spiritual dimension to the next-3D-4D-5D all being stirred from the galactic core of the Milky Way.  Not all buy into the fear mongling although there are many clichés and cult-ural  interpretations.

December 21 2012 is the yearly line up of the Winter solstice and  the Milky Way which is called the galactic alignment –where some of the hype theory purports  the December solstice is now passing through the center of the Milky way– the Galactic Core or as otherwise known, the black hole- where all creation happens. This gravitational force in the galactic center or equator which supposedly only gets activated every 26,000 years is a story that began in 2003 as a rumor about a planet called Niburu on a wayward attack toward colliding with earth.

When looking at the planetary indicators for that day there really isn’t anything alarming although there are some key notable configurations. What this time does hail though with the transits we do have in the sky is the end of the world as we know it-being the end of one cycle bringing in another and this is a very significant cycle – as many know it as the cycle of the Age of Pisces shifting to the age of Aquarius. Perhaps the real message at this time is to let go of the selfish, greedy, misuse of power which brings destruction, war and poverty.

We have a mutual reception of Saturn and Pluto which is a very rare configuration.  Saturn in Scorpio ruled by Pluto gives the necessary restriction to obsessive Pluto while Pluto in Capricorn, ruled by Saturn gives the necessary shift and destruction to those areas that need to evolve and transform that get stuck in the status quo. These mutual receptions are a double edged sword while each giving the other, what the other lacks- a supportive alignment and exchange however Saturn and Pluto are malefic which can just reinforce and enhance the dark qualities inherent in each other that fuel further mayhem.

There is also a key YOD pattern developing with the outer planets.  We have had many significant YOD patterns in the last 6 months however this YOD pattern takes the cake with its collective flavor being separate from any personal planets.  This YOD pattern perfects on December 21 2012 as the outer planets Jupiter Saturn and Pluto come into play at 8 degrees as Saturn and Pluto form into mutual reception.  This rare YOD formation speaks of powerful adjustments and fateful encounters with strong shifts – often uncomfortable.  The choices at this time will force the hand of rising above the knee jerk survival mode grasping tendencies of human nature.

This YOD of 150 degree of “activation” of health, work, service, sacrifice- a humbleness prevails  – health again as the focus-more in line  addressing  the health of nations and global attention to Mother Earth – Gaia.  Gemini issues of health may show themselves-lungs, TB, arms, shoulders, hands.  Jupiter is at the apex point of this YOD further pointing toward Jupiter Gemini expansion and revealing development with a pressing message.  Gemini is the messenger ringing that something has to give and with a YOD pattern it will be with perplexing, tangled intent, the instigator, Venus in Sagittarius, with a shooting for the stars aim.   Jupiter at the apex demands a higher, idealistic plan to draw out the mutual benefit that befits Saturn in Scorpio ruled in Pluto and Pluto Capricorn ruled by Saturn  –a time to reset to 0000 and build from a more solid foundation.

Jupiter, ruler of the New Moon, has been a key driver and is highlighted during this cycle.  Jupiter was hit by an asteroid on December 10, just as Lilith joined Jupiter December 11 as it forms into the YOD at the apex with Saturn and Pluto.  Lilith lined up with Jupiter – Jupiter hit by Lilith’s best shot-Lilith is tough enough to hit on big shot Jupiter-giving new meaning to the big bang.  We also have an asteroid  in close proximity to Earth as of December 11th just spotted on December 9th and Meteor showers in the constellation of Gemini – the Geminids, during the New Moon.  Jupiter moved over the June 2012 Lunar Eclipse degree and Venus occultation during Hurricane Sandy.   Jupiter then moves back to Gemini 6 degrees in January 2013 back to the November 2012 Lunar Eclipse degree -“ain’t over til the fat lady (Jupiter) sings”.

This movement of Jupiter began mid July 2012 where it also stationed over Venus retrograde and completes end of January as Jupiter stations at 6 degrees Gemini.  This brings all the outer planets into forward motion until mid February 2013 when Saturn once again goes retrograde.  Sabian Symbol of 7 degrees Gemini-“An old fashioned well”  A well symbolizes tapping into deep reserves of nourishment (water) –the ability to dig into a well of opportunity-Pluto represents the depth of digging and drilling accessing what is hidden beneath.  Pay attention to any degree between 6-8  particularly Gemini.

The Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant-rumors had been going around that Kate was pregnant in the last year. The announcement happened with her supposedly into 12 weeks making conception time around the Blue Moon Full Moon in Pisces end of August 2012. Both Kate and William were born during eclipses-William a solar eclipse and Kate, a lunar eclipse.  Eclipses, especially Solar,  point toward royalty as the Sun (solar) is emphasized and the Sun, ruling Leo, rules over royalty and kings.  There is a Solar Eclipse in May 2013-9 months after the supposed conception, so we shall see when and if the birth occurs around a Solar Eclipse.

When you look at Kate’s and William’s charts you can see the emphasis on children.  Eclipses are moving through Prince Williams 5th house  of children.  The current YOD pattern is forming over Prince William’s 5th house Mercury with Jupiter over his Mercury in the 5th and the transiting Taurus nodal axis over his 5th house Venus Chiron in Taurus.  Venus Chiron in Taurus connects with Diana’s, his mother’s Venus Taurus who also had her Venus in the 5th house of children showing their connection through time. With the transiting nodal axis – south node in Taurus over his Venus Chiron – the wound of losing his mother may come as a healing solace through a child-perhaps an embodiment  of his mother, Diana.

Kate’s birth time is not known but much speculation is an afternoon birth which gives her a strong 5th house which would be strongly emphasized by eclipses-here she has Jupiter in Scorpio which is being transited by Saturn-a significant change of status which Saturn transits portend.

Venus Scorpio over the nodal axis during the New Moon also favors relationships (Venus) as the focus for the next month is with Scorpion principles of deep bonding and intense emotional passion.  Venus also connected to money and values – opportune time for financial investing and long term financial agreements-best to get sorted before Venus moves into Sagittarius to square Neptune December 16th which will add a sense of dazed and confused and may throw a wrench in your plans adding to the confounding and stubborn negotiations and holding pattern with the NHL talks.

Mercury and Jupiter are also in mutual reception-Mercury in Sagittarius (ruled by Jupiter) and Jupiter in Gemini (ruled by Mercury).  Mercury and Jupiter are both in their detriment whereby each feeds into the other’s foibles.  Mercury Sagittarius communication blunders with Jupiter Gemini over thinking and over reaction and over stepping boundaries with too much information revealed as seen with the Duchess Kate’s baby announcement.  A Royal hoax turned into a tragic suicide of an innocent third party nurse caught in the middle of these shenanigans.  Jupiter in Gemini in detriment-poor judgement and bad taste with the added dose of Lilith Gemini.   This all with transit Mercury over the nodal axis oppose Algol still rearing her ugly head around communications gone amok.

Mercury is finishing its cycle in its last shadow run as it moved back over key points the last few weeks from its retrograde motion.  Mercury again squares Neptune and Chiron-flooding and water /communication gets reset-featuring Neptune again we have the legalization of weed in Washington.  Neptune rules over drugs and as they say “Just dube it”.  With Neptune ever present in Pisces for many years to come, many businesses will continue to emerge with marijuana as a real growth industry.  Mercury moving out of its shadow in Sagittarius, we can look forward to more open minded and flexible negotiations.
