New Moon in Pisces 2014
New Moon in Pisces 2014 “The Logical Song” Supertramp
“When I was young, it seemed that life was so wonderful,
a miracle, oh it was beautiful, magical.
And all the birds in the trees, well they’d be singing so happily,
oh joyfully, oh playfully watching me.
But then they sent me away to teach me how to be sensible,
logical, oh responsible, practical.
And then they showed me a world where I could be so dependable,
oh clinical, oh intellectual, cynical…”
The New Moon in Pisces opens a doorway into awareness and consiousness nudging you to release any burdens to the universe, to let go and let “god”. Neptune, the ruler of the New Moon in Pisces guides toward reaching beyond limits and mundane reality to believe and dream in something more. With the Pisces focus on water, rituals with water, dowsing help to infuse the spirit with a cleansed and refreshed aura. Take this opportunity to go for a swim, take a shower or bath, skip some stones, toss coins in a fountain, blow and burst bubbles, visit a wishing well, take a walk by water and ask to wash away what ails, deadens or dampens your psyche.
During the New Moon in Pisces, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn are all stationing instilling a sense of contemplation and surrender to a snail’s pace and the moment. Likened to the Ripple Effect, every step and choice you make and intention takes you to your destination. With one foot in front of the other, we learn to go with the flow, get into our rhythm and into a stride to find the zone.
The New Moon in Pisces joins Chiron Neptune Pisces with a trine to Jupiter in Cancer in exaltation and sextile to Pluto giving healing, nurturing solace and offering blessings, mercy, peace and some release from the pressure through any of the current turmoil. This fortunate trine bestows much opportunity for growth, joy and abundance, luck and benevolent influence although it’s easy to take this energy for granted and for a smooth ride into nothingness so it’s wise to use this energy to do your best work to see positive return.
Mercury retrograde in Aquarius turns direct just as Mars Libra goes retrograde. Mercury in Aquarius keeps the focus on social, friendships, networking and groups, the eccentrics and those who roll in circles that live outside the box. We are in a set pattern of doors opening and closing, stop and go, back and forth. With Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn all at the turn around time stationing, it’s a precarious time to watch any missteps and guard against accidents. With time slowed to a halt, it’s a time to reset and reorder our direction as well as test our patience with grace under pressure, while rolling boulders up a hill.
Aquarius is an air sign that can remain detached, logical, cool, calm and collected although with Mercury in Aquarius continuing to square Saturn in Scorpio through its turn around as it moves direct really punctuates the cool into cold harshness which takes the abrupt to more cruel than kind, frosty, dry, curt, prickly with an acerbic bitter after taste with communication breakdowns and shutdowns dusting off any sugar coating with a note of mean spirited run rough shed. Thankfully, Mars Libra keeps us in tune to handling our adversaries and conflicts with fairness and diplomacy with a little biting of the tongue of the Saturn school of hard knocks.
Venus and Mars are in a mating dance to a sexy tango in a tense square over the Libra nodal axis that puts love matters into the “it’s complicated” category. Venus Capricorn has just left her shadow while being in retrograde as Mars enters its retrograde, sitting in a station making them ships passing through the night. Venus is magnetic and Mars is the metal where the attraction throws sparks. Venus puts on the charm to draw out Mars sexual desire. Venus Mars in a challenging aspect indicates timing to be off in the dance of intimacy where sexual libido is peaked and pressured instigating some hard loving with an aggressive and competitive streak.
The nodal axis is now in Libra which turns our attention to Libra as the focal point in partnerships, relationships, diplomacy, fairness and cooperation. The sojourn in Libra the next couple of years through the Libra/Aries eclipses will draw out the challenges, aggravations in equality and our concept of beauty, and in health, the lower back, kidneys and diabetes. The Libra nodal axis starts its journey riding close together with Mars Libra accentuating Mars Libra with being the great equalizer when life isn’t fair.
Venus moves out of her shadow in Capricorn from the past retrograde motion and into Aquarius March the 6th taking our relations out of the serious somber Capricorn all wiser for the wear ready for taking it up an Aquarius notch to instigate some electricity and sparks in our relations with an edge for something different and less cumbersome.
Jupiter is reaching an impasse with Uranus being in tense aspect the last few weeks growing together firing up the developing cardinal cross. Protests and radical chaos (Uranus) actions (Aries) are alive and kicking in the Ukraine with reaction (Mars Libra). Jupiter square Uranus is brutally and abruptly rude with sudden and shocking (Uranus) honest (Jupiter) to a fault with revolts to fight for territory with pressure to any harmony or diplomacy (Mars Libra).
The Sochi Olympic winners, particularly the current protest and controversy (Uranus) over the judging (Jupiter) of the gold medal winner in figure skating, Adelina Sotknikova, who won the Gold for Russia over long time darling, Yuna Kim of Korea is creating an uproar. Adelina is a Cancer born with a cardinal cross giving her the grit to compete. The cross in her chart matches the current cross in the sky which gave her the push over the edge. The grand trine during her last skate put her in the zone as it gave her Sun in Cancer wings to fly. Yuna is a Virgo with a very fortunate chart, showing her natural grace and flow however hit up with the cardinal cross, showed her being up against major contenders. Defense was a major play in hockey which shows with Mars in Libra deflecting and disarming. Mars (offense) in Libra (defense) was the perfect formula for winning. Canada’s chart shows a Saturn return (discipline) that ties into a grand trine with transit Jupiter over Canada Sun in Cancer, indicating putting in the effort and hard work (Saturn) with Jupiter’s well earned rewards.
Thank you Anita!
I recently posted “it’s not that complicated” as I think we tend to have analysis paralysis and I urge others to keep it simple and live with trust in their inner wise self. You mentioned it was time to set your intention, use your imagination and then surrender to the moment. If you can develop belief in yourself, dream for something more and then allow it to happen. The time is right. Love it!
Yes, Cynthia. Through the shifts and turns, we are, at best, to keep it simple and not get pulled into the tide while trusting and going with the flow.
