The Full Moon in Leo has a burst of confidence with a warm glow as the proud regal Leo is full on as the Moon joins Jupiter Leo. The Leo Moon emotional expression is piped up full blown in time to take notice and be moved. Whether as a purr or a meow cat call slinking up around your leg prancing about or a vivacious lion roar getting you to stand up and take notice, Leo will make sure you get the point, the message or the picture with lots of pussy footing around.
The Leo Moon Jupiter jovial grand entrance commands attention with a kingly nobility focusing in on the heart of the matter with a courageous open heart although with a Jupiter over the top grandiosity that can border on arrogance, conceit and bragging rights where vanity can get kicked off the Leo throne with too much Leo overblown making their presence known.
The Sun also opposes Jupiter Leo emphasizing and increasing the polarity of Leo /Aquarius. Leo drama and Aquarius off beat are off to a party with their circus act side show. Aquarius progressive aims are kicked up a notch with Jupiter Leo pumping up the pomp, and pouring the snake oil promising more than they can deliver. The Sun, in its detriment in Aquarius, finds its glory in its opposite sign, Leo where it rules. Herein lies the paradox of the need for Leo adulation diluted with Aquarius watering down any special favors, preferential treatment and favoritism, keeping up an unassuming air and indifference to making an appearance. An Aquarius can pull cool as a cucumber with the hot flames of Leo and exit stage right, away from any Leo fanfare, theatrics or drama.
The major configuration in this Full Moon is a full on YOD formed between the Moon Jupiter Leo with the Venus Mars Chiron Pisces stellium and Pluto Capricorn. Essentially Pisces Leo and Capricorn are in a compromising adjustment period for the next few weeks. YODs (finger of god) usually show up with health, work, labor and are indicative of an uncomfortable, uneasy feeling with a sad nostalgic turn, defeat, weakness, self medicating (Pisces) wounded pride, bruised egos, losing face (Leo), shift in power, survival (Pluto). This YOD can prove to be humbling and serve as a level playing ground requiring a full course of eating crow and a humble pie, tossed in your face, shaming and humiliating any Leo supremacy or Pluto power plays.
Venus and Mars in Pisces mating dance continues the next few weeks. Venus and Mars in Pisces is enhancing a go with the flow and let bygones be bygones. Venus is exalted in Pisces where relationships have the blessing of softening any blows with a sense of compassion and a gentle, graceful fluidity. Neptune ruled Pisces emphasizes sacrifice, surrender and giving up something selfish for the greater whole. Pisces will find a hide out and slip away or an escape to contemplate, sleep and dream.
Mercury continues in retrograde soon to turn direct on Feb 11th. Mercury oppose Jupiter instigated this retrograde phase where foot in mouth and over reaction in communications with Jupiter propensity tending to blurt out and blunder. Mercury Aquarius as an air sign gives another chance to stop (retrograde) and think (Aquarius) before blowing things out of proportion (Jupiter) and going out of bounds and being baffled by bullshit.
Mercury makes another sound aspect to Saturn in Sagittarius during its turnaround going direct the next few weeks giving communications that extra needed restraint and hold your tongue added benefit of tempering Mercury neurotic constant mental chatter hither and thither, hurry up to just wait. As Mercury sits at a station for the next few weeks it comes to a pause to let it be, let it gel and to literally follow the adage “it goes without saying”. In other words zip the lip, shut up, shut out, tune out, time out and obliterate the mass of communications (cell phone, google, facebook, tv, radio, etc…)
