Full Moon in Libra 2019

Full Moon in Libra 2019 “It’s My Life” Talk Talk

This is the second Libra Full Moon during a very critical juncture of change with the Saturn Pluto nodal axis conjunction. With two Full Moons in a sign, the energy is very much an indication of a sharp, pointed cycle of beginnings and endings, as the first Full Moon in Libra fell during the first degree of the sign and the second Full Moon in Libra fell during the last degree of the sign.  The first degree is very indicative of beginnings, the last degree of endings.

This second Full Moon in Libra is a culmination of the very challenging New Moon in Aries. The Full Moon in Libra falling during Good Friday on the Easter Weekend has some significance of biblical proportions.  This Christian holiday centers on some meaningful parables around endings, sacrifice, darkness, sadness, grief as depicted with Jesus last supper, crucifixion, resurrection.  Jesus death on the cross symbolizes cross roads, carrying a heavy burden, endings, sacrifice, relinquishing control, but also rising up again after death, defeat, loss.  Jesus death personified and symbolized how one can be persecuted, crucified, betrayed, slandered, destroyed by opinion, beliefs, conflict, jealousy, ignorance, gossip, hate, fear, division, when one stood their ground  with courage and bravery regarding their own beliefs, principles no matter the consequence or reaction.

The Libra Full Moon times two reflects on anything as Libra is always looking for balance, harmony, cooperation, equality, fairness, seeing both sides, weighing the pros and cons, at the expense of sitting on an edge or on the fence of indecision, compromising principles, not taking a stand only to be wavering, where the Libra scales can often fall into debate, conflict and argument trying to find a happy medium. The emphasis on Libra is taking the high road and remaining impartial, to the Sun Aries desire to keep straight forward and honest.  The Aries Libra polarity at the Full Moon in Libra yearly always points to self vs. other, independence vs. dependence, me vs. you, single or relationship, action vs. reaction.  The continuum is the how much of myself do I sacrifice for other, where do I stand my ground against compromise for the sake of other or a relationship.

The Full Moon in Libra oppose Uranus adds inevitable change coming after the fall, with a radical shift.  Some change comes that isn’t welcome or expected but in the end it is for the best.  Much of this energy is looking at the greater good, beyond small minds to move on to new ground to shake off the old and worn out.  Any Uranus energy is well to stay authentic and not fear following one’s own compass instead of being steered by consensus, conformity, in that whatever the challenges or changes, in the end, life is short, and one is here to live their own life, true to their self.
