New Moon in Aquarius 2019

New Moon in Aquarius 2019 “Break my Stride” Matthew Wilder

The New Moon in Aquarius falls during the Chinese New Year, year of the Pig, setting up a fresh new path. The New Moon in Aquarius is on a launch pad for movement, quick, agile and daring, ready to run the race and dash a 50 yard stride.  Aquarius seeks new innovative, brave initiatives away from anything outmoded, outlived and outdated, clearing the way for progressive change.  Aquarius mindfulness of thinking, seeing and knowing is often connected to the third eye, seat of intuition, able to see beyond thoughts and the mind chatter to the higher mind.

Aquarius is ruled by Uranus and is connected to change, trying something new, shaking things up and getting out of stagnation.  Aquarius will fight tradition and the status quo and go against the grain, with no qualms or fear of being the outsider, breaking the mold and conformity.  Aquarius inventive and experimental outlook is associated with embracing the greater good, community, groups, fitting with inclusiveness, diversity, reflecting these colorful differences and complexities.  The Aquarian Age upon us demonstrates the growing globalization we are facing and the integration and need to embrace very diverse differences in culture, religion, beliefs, etc  which helps to foster growth.

The New Moon in Aquarius joins Mercury Aquarius and aligns positively with Mars Aries and Jupiter Sagittarius, giving it a boost of right action and clear direction.  Momentum is straight forward and geared toward a brand new plan with a decisive perspective, piped up and raring to go.  Mercury is exalted in Aquarius with its ability to rise above, go to higher ground and get an open view, keeping with impartial and rational attention.

Many planets are at home and exalted so are operating at full potential (Mercury exalted in Aquarius, Mars at home in Aries, Jupiter at home in Sagittarius, Saturn at home in Capricorn, Neptune at home in Pisces). Saturn aligns with Neptune, aiding in merging the realistic with the idealistic.
