Full Moon in Scorpio 2015

Full Moon in Scorpio 2015 “Those Were The Days” Mary Hopkin Happy Birthday

The Full Moon in Scorpio is the annual Wesak Full Moon, an honor to Buddha and to celebrate Buddha’s birth and spiritual unity, where many around the world gather in meditation especially necessary at this time in prayer for the tragic loss of lives in the Nepal Earthquake. It is a time to bless and to cherish the privilege to being inhabitants of Mother Earth, treasuring nature, respecting and appreciating its natural cycles. May Day protests continue to instigate the collective consciousness of anti-capitalism and the repercussions of worshiping the almighty dollar.

Buddha teaches that a soul continues to reincarnate when infected with willful desire. Once all desire is let go, the soul enters into Nirvana. Scorpio and Taurus are fixed signs with focus. The Taurus Sun connects us to our sense of self worth, ownership, entitlement, security and sustainment and what we hold dear while the Scorpio Moon portrays what we share with others, the polarity being about sacrificing some of the need for guarding our own safety and stability, holding onto what’s mine and letting go, releasing and taking a risk, giving something back for the greater good with the notion that money “Can’t buy me love” and “All that glitters is not gold”.

An overall cradle formation gives the chart a secure and sustainable foundation to help withstand any calamity. This is an active Full Moon making many aspects to the outer planets giving it vivid solar strength and vibrant vitality, purpose, accentuating the tugging at lunar heart strings with a feeling of “you move me”. Anytime the Sun Moon has aspects to outer planets shows the front line and participation with a powerful intact ego.  A tight square to Jupiter Leo has an uplifted and jovial , “give’er”, get going enthusiasm and rambunctious spirit with lucky breaks, lots of extras, more and plenty of options on the menu which could also show a spending spree. A flowing aspect to Pluto activates intense emotions and a tempo picking up any unruly motivations.

Mercury is in Gemini in its home, in its shadow, ready to go retrograde. Mercury in Gemini pipes up the energy with quick light steps with Gemini as the information junkie dialed into all circuits, tuned into many channels and frequencies. Mercury at home in Gemini in retrograde is always a feast of Mercury rethink and reboots although Mercury is empowered in Gemini, giving much potential in everything Gemini and communications whether learning, teaching, commuting, speaking, gaging the weather etc.

Mercury tangles with an opposition to Saturn Sagittarius and square to Neptune Pisces with a semisquare to Uranus so expect some reminiscing, backtracking, more inclement weather, walking into murky territory, communication breakdown, confusion, wool gathering, loopy behavior, wise cracks, cranky moods and shoot the messenger verbage. Walking down the street or driving, talking to yourself, is not so loony and now the new buzz with “are you talkin to me?… all well disguised as audio cover ups and head sets. New words, learning curves, vocabulary, texting and trends in communications (cuz, ur, no worries, it’s all good and the new filler words from once “you know” to now, “like”, peppering sentences, inserted after each syllable with the race to see how many times you can say, like, in a sentence…bonus with added expletives of WTF, OMG…).

Venus continues in Gemini the rest of the week, but without much support disconnected from the rest of the chart feeling left out and out of the loop, moving solo but still whimsical and fancy free, carefree and bouncing along.

Uranus Saturn sets into a pattern of a sesquisquare 135 angle, an irritation point adding to the tension and rebellion (Uranus) against authority (Saturn) further with Saturn in Sagittarius and the racial divide (Baltimore riots) . Things are still a little weird and awkward in a free fall not quite to the ground (Uranus) with a Saturn squeeze and squelch to any derailment, getting things on track again.

Noted many public disclosures of deceit and fessing up where the integrity button pressed boosts Scorpio ruled Pluto, getting to the crux of the matter. Carrying around baggage of guilt and regret is the deepest poison (Pluto) that can wreak havoc on ones system and psyche.

Continuous uncovering of hidden agenda is also a Pluto domain, smoking out any deceit. Mike Duffy`s Gemini Sun and Mercury is getting hit up and pummeled by transit Saturn, showcasing accountability (Saturn). His Sun Mercury were under Neptune the last few years bringing up deception and fraud. His Chiron Libra under the recent Lunar Eclipse, a wound hanging in the balance. The stars compel and do tell.

The Earthquake in Nepal and riots in Baltimore prove that the separating Uranus square Pluto aspect is still in play, with the additional Uranus sesquisquare Saturn aspect edge. The separating aspect is a pressure release with its own fallout. The last earthquake in Nepal was January 15 1934 with a New Moon that formed a major grand cardinal cross during the last Uranus square Pluto (exact) where history did in fact repeat itself.
