Full Moon in Virgo
Full Moon in Virgo “Woodstock” Joni Mitchell
The Full Moon in Virgo is starting off the Virgo Pisces eclipse season with a heads up to the growing need to put to use Virgo’s discriminating and meticulous attention and get to work to address the scattered brained mutable mix of being all things to all people. Virgo is featured over the north node in the eclipses the next few years to set straight, correct and fix up all the mix ups while shaping any mold into what doesn’t take hold. The focus on mutable energy is energetic and busy but not a time of clear decisions with more walking in circles, getting pulled in different directions, with Virgo work cut out for them.
The Full Moon in Virgo with the Sun in Pisces oppose the Moon in Virgo is a bit of a see saw, accented further with the Full Moon oppose Neptune in Pisces. The tug of war between Virgo logic and Pisces intuition, Virgo left brain and Pisces right brain, Virgo linear and Pisces sinuous is culminating into nagging doubt. Suffice to say, the Full Moon in Virgo is a time to banish any doubts to clear a path to start making strides while working diligently (Virgo) toward your dreams (Pisces), using the imaginative back drop of Pisces to bring to life a Virgo (work) of art (Pisces). The Virgo Pisces magic comes alive with a clean Virgo sweep while in Pisces song and a whistle while you work, letting Virgo do their job of improving, editing, adding any final touch ups and check points with all hairs in place, breath check, dust off the lapel, colors match, clean underwear…
The Full Moon in Virgo task is to lead a horse to water and make him drink, turning any chaos theory on its head, and making sense out of any nonsense. The north node in eclipses is a challenge not easy to muster as north node energy equates with growing pains and a learning curve therefore making it easy to fall back into old habits (south node). Virgo is co-ruled by Mercury and rules over work, health, pets, discrimination, logic, organization, common sense, clarity as opposed to intuition, ideology and theoretical presumptions (Pisces Neptune). The richest and fortunate are those with their health as no richness, success, power or beauty is worth much if you don’t have your health. The Virgo critic knows you can’t please everyone all the time and there is always a necessary evil of deciphering between factual time tested, proven, statistical evidence information as opposed to fiction and fantasy.
Virgo ties into eclipses this year further emphasizing a mutable tsquare with Neptune in Pisces and Saturn Sagittarius, missing the Gemini leg which has the mutable cross wobbling on 3 legs without a rational and impartial leg to stand on. The lack of air is a free for all frenzy of say anything with lopsided unrealistic, zealous interpretation charged with emotional contagion without thoughtful, relevant, credible and reliable facts. Communications are weakened missing key connections, lost in translation with poor listening, misinterpretation, less logic (2+ 2 does not equal 5) with more decisions based on bias, emotion and influence as opposed to reason.
The Full Moon in Virgo makes a pressing Thors Hammer with Uranus square Pluto. Thors Hammer is known as the fist of GOD that comes down hard with a hand full of irritation needling to release much pent up frustration. Thors Hammer is igniting Uranus Pluto aftershocks and the ensuing PTSD and repercussions as Uranus Pluto begins to finally separate and with it shedding another skin of exponential experience and accumulated lessons.
Mars in Scorpio is in its shadow beginning its retrograde cycle once again which happens every 2 years, adding to a time of some back peddling, back tracking where frustration, confrontation, impulsiveness and pent up anger can spill out in rage and revenge. Mars will turn retrograde in April as it passes through Sagittarius and move forward again in June.
