Full Moon in Gemini

Full Moon in Gemini 2015 “Karma Police” Radiohead

The Full Moon in Gemini this year is in a pickle, tangled in a twisted contortion oppose Sun Mercury Saturn in Sagittarius and square Neptune. This afflicted Full Moon, ruled by Mercury, otherwise rational, reasonable and objective is dividing and further polarizing the duality of Gemini, up against a subjective, irrational Sagittarius stellium full of righteous zeal gone amok, where any clarity and keeping clear is bulldozed and blasted with dizzy misjudgement, discouragement and dismay, as Saturn over correction and harsh consequence adds further disdain, sneering at any Gemini impartial reason.

The Sun Mercury and Saturn in Sagittarius in this mangled tsquare is further catapulted by a grand square to Lucifer in Virgo. Lucifer is an asteroid of special significance when in major alignment, as it draws out critical crisis and mayhem. The grand mutable square is emphasizing the cross you bear in the jungle out there, with energies spread out, scattering forces, toward aimless missions and lost causes. This all brought to light with the repercussions and plight with the futile fight of religious war, beliefs turned fanatic, scapegoats, denial, fraud, uncertainty and unreliable outcomes.

It is a game changer lunar cycle with the nodal axis moving into Virgo/Pisces just as Saturn Sagittarius reaches its first square to Neptune Pisces. The Virgo north node, also ruled by Mercury, is the theme the next few years with the Virgo/Pisces eclipses focusing and forcing measures on improvement with work, health and organization, to keep from getting lost in space and the shuffle. Saturn in Sagittarius square Neptune Pisces casts dismal disarray, sprinkling fairy dust to cloud vision, challenging the Virgo necessity to get on course to a way clear of the mess and distress while the Pisces south node (ruled by Neptune) gives an opportunity for increased compassion, collective caring and good deeds, offering a helping hand.

The Moon in Gemini, ruled by Mercury, is associated with youth. Mercury, currently in Sagittarius, is in its detriment and afflicted, caught up in highfalutin rash, moralizing and preaching, blowing things out of proportion, depicting the ugly truth of radicalized youth at the pit and root of the ISIS war.  I had seen a storm brewing with this Full Moon as with any lunar cycle, you have to look at the big picture (Sagittarius) and with that, the outer planets and their slow movement. The outer planets dictate the essence of any lunar cycle and set the stage for events as well as indicate the barometer and collective pulse. The energy patterns have to find an outlet whether through someone, something or somewhere to take on the role to manifest the energy. Along with Saturn square Neptune, Uranus square Pluto still has us vulnerable to radical and severe shifts. Lilith in Libra is also making way to create a tsquare with Uranus square Pluto with Mars Libra not far behind, all indicative of very difficult energy to manage. The last few Mars Uranus Pluto tsquares have shown  tragedy and I cringe when these transits occur.

Although the Paris attack came as a shock, many rumblings have already been seen in the last while, particularly with Paris already under attack and clear messages from the terrorists there was more to come. The Paris attack, on Friday the 13th, was just at the onset of the crescent Moon after the New Moon and the lunar cycle always follows the manifestation at Full Moon from the seed of the New Moon, where at the crescent seed shows its sprout. The Moon was in Sagittarius just past the conjunction to Saturn Sagittarius, making a tsquare to Jupiter Virgo and Chiron Pisces. The Jupiter ruled Moon was in tatters, with Jupiter and Sagittarius representing religion, beliefs and immigration. The New Moon YOD with Uranus showcased a major sudden, shocking, unsuspecting spin of events, where Uranus is anything but typical so difficult to predict its nature.

The shock is just more Uranus Pluto throwing volts through us waking us up to realities and truths as Saturn in Sagittarius gets loud with a message of face the music. Saturn is ever present in challenging, malefic aspect in the lunar cycles and eclipses the next year. Saturn is associated with karma and the tune now is more of “You better watch out, you better not cry, ..”. Karma Claus is coming to town so you better be or do good.
